 Innoskate at the Smithsonian Museum of American History, Go Skateboarding Day, Skatefest 2013! What a busy and fun-filled weekend of skating. After such a rocking and rolling, full tilt grind weekend, time to chill out for a while! Please join us at Old City Farm, a peaceful haven green co-op, for first of two showings of ‘Four Wheels and a Board in Kabul’, the full length documentary about Skateistan’s beginnings in Afghanistan.
All proceeds will go directly to Skateistan’s programs and operations in Af…ghanistan and Cambodia. After each screening we will have a raffle for some incredible prize packages generously donated by sPACYcLOUd and other local companies. Old City Farm, formally Old City Green, is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The perfect place to break from the crowds and hoopla. A veritable Eden peaceful urban getaway, green with flora and fauna –the idea setting to give closure and sense of accomplishment and good vibes to end the weekend. Our graffiti action will be nature based, paying homage to Gaya, Earth Mother, to all things green and growing.
